. HEALTH & SAFETY AWARDS SKILL BUILD COMPETITION 2009 The wall that Charlie built had four faces and consisted of complex projections, indentations and a variety of joint finishes that had to be carried out to the specific requirements stated on the working drawings and detail - all of which were designed to stretch not just his skills with a trowel but also his ability to interpret and execute written information. It was a great experience for Charlie to compete and see how far he has progressed compared to other young men in the trade. In the next few weeks we shall find out if he has qualified for the national competition to be held in Aberdeen towards the end of the year.
